Results on Food for Thought

June 30, 2025

I am finally going to list the results for both Food for Thought writings. I will be addressing Food for Thought #2 first, during this writing. It is more broad-based than the first one, although neither prognosis for either looks very good. But let me begin.

My mother was an Oregon farm girl, Navy veteran, single mom, and lifelong nurse. She progressed from working at a lab for Kaiser Medical, after leaving the military and divorcing my lifer Navy father when I was in 2nd/3rd grade at Saint Barnabas Catholic School. Her progression brought her to ultimately be one of the nurses for a prestigious Jewish doctor in the San Francisco Bay Area, by the time in which I graduated from a suburban bay area Public high school and entered the military. That is where I found out that in the '80s, it was believed that cancer spread rapidly after being exposed to outside environment, or basically, the air. But after reading the medical paper that we found and posted on our website, it gives cause to pause. Mind you, the paper was written and compiled by Iranian Doctors, primarily from Tabriz University of Medical Sciences. But it explains quite a bit, by the consolidation of data alone.

Granted, you have to know what fungus really is, and not everyone knows much about fungus. The average person may know that fungus spreads through spores, but do they really know what spores are – how they spread, grow, or even that they thrive on decay and moisture? Let's just say I live in Oklahoma, and the majority of people here are not the brightest lights on the annual Yule tree, but Doctors should know. So for the layman, spores are microscopic seeds in which fungus spreads, either puffing off the fungus (like mushrooms) or spreading themselves throughout the surrounding area when the fungus is disturbed (also like mushrooms and tree fungi). Surgery and biopsies would disturb the fungus, I'm sure. The article lists out over 160 references and correlates the findings, by fungus type to the cancer type.

If this premise is true, Anti-fungal treatment would stave off many people from having to undergo Chemotherapy. May even cure quite a bit of this stuff, yet cures really don't pay the bills. Treatment pays a lot of bills. Cures are a one time thing. Not good for a for-profit system in a Capitalist economy/ideology, I'm sure.

A couple of years back, an article came out on the internet, but only lasted for a couple of days. It was not recycled, as most of the articles on the internet are recycled over and over. The article talked about a trial for a cancer drug that fixed everybody in the test. Cured everyone, with a pill. While that article disappeared rather quickly, I would venture to say they used an anti-fungal. Given the option, I am sure patients would prefer to at least try an anti-fungal first, before chemo, just on the odds of probable success.

In all aspects, chemo is another misleading factor in the entire equation. The numbers are skewed by the fact that if a patient dies while undergoing chemo, the death is counted as a cancer death. I have known people who survived the surgery, only to have the chemo kill them after the fact. I have watched as people's entire personality changed while undergoing chemo, to include being plagued with false memories. While I have known people who have survived chemo, they changed quite a bit from whom they were prior to the radiation treatment.

My interest in the fungus came about when another article showed up on the internet, around the same time as the test that cured everybody. It said that they had found fungus in cancer cells. We found the medical paper while trying to hunt up back records for that article, which was newer than the research paper. I am not one for conspiracy theories, but the lack of funding for this avenue of research, which according to the references was known about in the '70s, really needs to be looked into. Something isn't right here, and I don't think major corporations are innocent divine beings that can do no wrong. Just sayin'.

Water Treatment and Ground Water. Let us set some normal guidelines here that are, straight up, facts that are known. Antifreeze/coolant is a Nerve Agent. It tests positive as a nerve agent and is why it has warning/poison labels. This used to be taught in the military, and hopefully it still is. It was back in the late '70s when I went through basic training. Our instructors were all Vietnam veterans, and they made sure everybody knew that fact. We were taught that if a radiator blows, you hold your breath and get out of there. We still use the same substances in our engines today, and I venture to say that it is not much different from the coolant used in the EVs they have now. One other bit of information is that you cannot boil antifreeze/coolant out of water. Come on, now. Think about it. You put this stuff in your engine to cool it from high temperatures that range from 4500 degrees Fahrenheit to 6000 degrees Fahrenheit. Antifreeze fumes can cause a human a lot of problems, and our Vietnam veterans wanted to make sure we knew it. This stuff has to be filtered out of the ground water. It is a forever chemical. The bad part of the entire thing here is that the so-called backwards countries that have no water sanitation or filtration system are having obvious problems, but those problems are no different, really, than our backwards states that do not want to follow Federal Guidelines.

A paper by Environment International called “Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in United States tapwater: Comparison of underserved private-well and public-supply exposures and associated health implications,” does not give a good prognosis on the water supplies in the United States. The degradation of our leaders' ability to enforce the basic rights to clean water is just the beginning of the fall of our civilization itself. It is no surprise, really. After all, the states file suits all the time against the Federal Government, to block themselves from having to do what they were told to do. Those regulations by the Federal Government were formulated solely for the benefit of the people in those states/cities/townships/farm communities. This is to include upgrades to water treatment facilities. Currently, we have a least one devout anarchist in our country's Congress coupled with the already tense friction between the two ruling political parties; it is building up like a monstrous pimple. Hopefully man, here, in North America, has learned something from history, but it's doubtful.

Forever chemicals, Climate Change, Famine, and now Micro-plastics have surfaced; there are the four modern extinction possibilities. So, yeah. Basically, humans are screwed and we are heading into turmoil in the near future, I'm sure. World War III is soon to be upon us. It is an entirely new era of warfare. Drones are wreaking havoc. Missiles are now not as predictable as before since there are only a few that get through complex air defense systems. Bombs are raining terror a lot less than they used to do; after all, who wants another Cambodia? Yet, the waste of human life has become a common occurrence in multiple areas around the globe. The Israeli defense force basically leveled Gaza. In World War I, America supplied arms and ammunition to the Allied Powers. It wasn't until it really looked like the allies were getting their asses kicked that America joined in. In current time, now, the government gives them the arms and ammunition. We, as a country, are not looking too good on the diplomacy scale. After all, this is life on the planet Earth – not some game called: Humanities Existence or Extinction, turn number 2025. Our society is being sucked into global confrontation. Granted, a lot depends on the new/current war tactics like drone production, along with firepower and a lot of ammo, as always. But a huge factor is, how many people can you afford to lose? Russia still has a distinct advantage in the fact that Putin doesn't care how many troops die; the more troops that die, the less mouths he has to feed. Unfortunately, all this conflict is not looking good for man's continued forward evolutionary progression; although I don't think World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones. After careful consideration of our current populations' survivability chances, there will not be that many humans left after World War III keeps the bulk of humanity from finding the solutions on micro-plastics, forever chemicals, climate change, and the resulting famine.

If your souls were old enough to realize that reincarnation is a reality, then you would be a lot more worried right now. But that would limit you to Buddhists who believe in a form of rebirth being samsara (the endless cycle of birth, mundane existence, and death) and karma, 70% of Hindus, a bunch of the Pagans, and some Gnostic Christians. It is standing knowledge that if a human doesn't want to learn, the human can't be taught – unless you make them want to learn. It is really that plain and simple, and without any Zen riddles. Unfortunately in the reincarnation religions, if you don't grasp the basic tenets of the religious teachings – more or less, if you cannot accept basic concepts – your soul is still too young and unwilling to learn. Souls that cannot accept the basic tenet of reincarnation are those souls that still want to be convinced, and the reincarnation religions really don't do that. Nor do we want to waste our time with a fruitless debate with souls too young to understand. Kind of like a wise parent that tells a child, “When you are old enough, you will understand.” Yes, that is where the faith part of the equation comes into play in religion. Why reincarnation religions do not recruit is simple. When a soul is old enough to realize it has had past lives, the soul will seek out other souls that realize the same. The only thing that you have to worry about is finding the souls that will teach you. After all, you will become part of the teacher's karma; why would he or she want that?

Science does differ some from Religion because even those that are motivated – those humans who want to learn all they can, and understand basic concepts – have a hard time learning about the proper areas to really make a difference. All because of one primary factor. FUNDING. In this day and age, it is all about getting the funding to do the research. Herein lies an overall humanity problem: Allocation of funding for research. Statistics show that Non-Profits are. . . WORSE than for-profits corporations. Heck, at least for-profit corporations use a much higher percentage of overall funds on research and development than the Non-Profits. But they also direct that funding towards getting more profit. Let alone, hire lobbyists and supply everything they need for their attempts at influencing the government on funding those programs that do not interfere with their profit. How long did it take humans to catch on to Big Tobacco's lobbyist tactics? After all, Big Tobacco showed all corporations what the lobbyists were for: Staving off getting caught. Is it too much to ask for the possibility of humans to catch on to Big Pharma, let alone, Big Oil? Apparently, yes, way too much to ask for. Humans are just that stupid, and let us not forget, greedy. But where would you go if you were a scientist? Remember, like you, they, too, have to eat, put a roof over their heads, and pay bills, or they, too, become homeless. It's the golden rule. He who has the gold, rules. He that does not have the gold, is but a pawn for those that do.
